Seneca Family of Agencies at Searles Elementary, is a voluntary school-based counseling program that provides Mental Health supports for Medi-Cal eligible students and families. Services include Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, and Family Therapy and often incorporates close collaboration with school teachers and other adults that provide support to students at school. The goal of these services is to support children and families in managing and reducing social, personal, and academic challenges to allow our students to reach their greatest potential. Students and families are facing a range of challenges in response to the current stressors of the pandemic. Children may experience increased worry, sadness, isolation, behavioral challenges and other symptoms in response to the increased level of stress during this time. If you notice these changes in your child or are concerned about your child for any other reason, please consider submitting a referral for support.
